Licensing Problem

Just venting really. Apparently Microsoft broke the licensing system that they use to generate NAV licenses. We have been waiting over 3 weeks for a new license and there is no ETA on when it will be fixed.

Interesting. I had a client a couple of weeks back bought an Add-On, and their license became unusable. It was crazy there were some lines about Bulgarian localizations, some weird new granules, but a huge chunk of the license just vanished. it caused weird errors, not just permissions, but posting errors and date errors. Seems it also added some permissions as well. A real mess.

We have also been waiting about a month for our license. It's great really. Glad we don't have a deadline.

Interestingly the fixed license was created 2 days later. :-k

I have heard through unofficial channels that it is possible for Microsoft to manually generate the license during this "outage" but I have been unable to find anyone inside MS that will confirm this.
