Hello,
A customer works with NAV 5.0 SP1 and gets twice a year a file from several vendors with the new prices of the items.
Is it possible with standard NAV to import the new sales prices? It is possible new items are added which must be added in NAV too.
I tried to use the migration overview but it doesn't work quit well if you export or import a lot of records.
If it can't be done with standard NAV, is there an addon which can do the job?
Else I will create a dataport.
Thanks in advance.
Best regards.
Elwin.

You never know if someone else does know a smart solution.
Not many end users deal with XML. Only techies.

Yes XML is taking a while to catch on. But it is the direction of Navision, and its better if starting something new to use XML. Also and most importantly Dataports are really slow for large volumes of data. Also the issue with CSV commas and Double quotes create even more issues.
But both Dataport or XML will work, personally though I would go with XML.
