Adding new User but different domain

I have this scenario wherein I want to add a new user in navision as windows login. But the user is in another domain. Can I able to add the user in the database? I am using MS SQL 2008. Please advise.

I haven't tested this but it's worth a try.
From the computer that is logged into the other domain Login to nav as database user. Then add the user into nav.
You'll probably see the existing users as GUID number.

So once the user is entered and apropriate role has been assigned, it all comes to authentication at active directory and if the two domain trust each other or not. That's up to the your AD admin to figure out and see if it works.
