In navision we cant define 2 base currency only one can be defined and if you want another additional currency than u can set up the additional reporting currency( which can be other currency used in your trasictions) and the program will automatically record amounts in both LCY and this additional reporting currency( i can tell u the method of additional reporting currency) on each G/L entry and on other entries, such as VAT entries.
The another question is about that can u reopen the closed financial accounting period and edit it no you cant open the closed financial year but you can post the entries to the closed financial year When you post G/L entries to a closed fiscal year, the program will mark the Prior-Year Entry field for those entries in the G/L Entry table. When you post to a closed fiscal year, you must always remember to run the Close Income Statement batch job to get the correct balances on the G/L accounts. Repeat the batch job each time you make a prior-year entry.
Hope i help you.
