Finding Navision contact search 1.0 automation service

RoelofRoelof Member Posts: 377
Hi,

I'm using Windows 7 and had to re-install my Navision 5.xx and Nav 2009 clients and all that. An interesting thing happened. I lost my Navision Contact Search 1.0 automation for some reason while I did som modifications on Opportunities. You can find the automation service in CU 5067. I would like to get it back but I don't know how. I don't know what the real name of the automation file is.

Anyone any ideas?

Thanks.

Well, I figured out my own problem. But this is really weird.
I found the dll file and here is how to register under Windows 7 (64 bits).

Steps how to register automations In Windows 7:
    - go to the start menu and type in the search field the following:
    cmd.exe. Do not hit enter.
    - Use the following combination keys: <Ctrl><Shift><Enter>. A Dos box displays on screen.
    - Then use the 'regsvr32' command to register *.dll files.

If you don't use the combination keys to activate a dos box, then it gives you an error message.
    Weird!

I don't know if any other automations failed installing during the installation of NAV 2009 under Windows 7.
    Any feedback is welcome.
