Problems with consumption journal

Hi,

How can i do the consumption journal in nav 2009. do we need to do any setup for consumption journal....can any one explain the step by step procedure of manufacturing...

    hi,
    there r multiple way for cunsumption in navision.
    before it you have to read help by flushing method field in item table.

    read nav help through by flushing method field it does show all type consumption provide in nav.
