How is this book different than the information given on the Applications Designer's guide?

Good question - I might be able to add to that sometime later (after I receive and read).

I know I bought it as something I can more easily lend to others without worrying about using MBS provided materials inappropriately (such as a client who has Report Designer and they wanted a reference during training).
