Thank you very much for all your help

I have setup companies 1, 2 and 3. User A needs access to 1, user B needs access to 2 and user C needs access to 1 and 3. When user A selects company’s list, how can I show only company 1 (not to show companies 1,2 and 3 and restricting by Roles). Is it possible?

If all roles for the user are defined only for the one company, the company window will show only this company...

I will check this, any possibility of restricting at user id level rather than role id?

Hi,

Lets take example QMS Database.

In the QMS Database create three companies QMS USA & QMS UK & QMS UAE

Create a Database login as Super

now assign the roles for the
1) Super login as role id --> Super;Company -->QMS USA
2) Super login as role id --> Super;Company --> QMS UK

So now when the super user logged in navision database only 2 comapnies(QMS US & QMS UK) can be viewed to that user.

Hi,

Yha it is possible using the user id but you need to do lcustomize for that.

you add the global dimension 1 filter field in the user setup.

filter that field in the required forms with the respective shortcut dimension field of that particular table.

so that you can view the data of the assigned companies only to that user.
