Curious who's going. Some conferences I've seen threads with folks chiming in to who's going to be about, so I started this one.

I would love to go. I think Directions US and the MiBuSo Conference are really the best value for money conferences out there. But just can't get away right now because I need to take a month vacation.
Directions is definitely THE place to meet people. Its also a lot of fun. If you can get there make the effort.David Singleton0 -
I will be there. Both presenting :-$ and having fun \:D/ .
Wow, David, you make taking vacation sounds like drag.0 -

Indeed - while I'm a veteran of a lot of upgrades, I'm looking forward to both sessions! Always things to learn.JEREMY VYSKA

The second session is a chalk talk where everyone should learn from each other. Tom and I are 'just' hosting.
First session is more like what not to do during an upgrade. We try to avoid the stuff everyone already knows but focus on those special pittfalls. Maybe salespeople should go to this session to learn how to manage expecations at customers as well.(That's the biggest pittfall huh).

I think you meant to say "Maybe sales people should go so they know what questions to avoid during the sales pitch"David Singleton0 -

"Why yes, I do believe it updates automatically to new versions through Windows update, right Jeremy?" is pretty high on that list for me. ](*,)JEREMY VYSKA
