Variance Entry in value entry table

Hi all,
I have posted 1 purchase order in currency EUR.
In the Value Entry table, there are two entries posted.
First Entry is in EUR Currency, second entry of variance in local currency.
Why two entries are not in the same currency.
Anyone knows about this?
