Hi Friends ,

I am using sql server option for the dynamics NAV 5.0 .... I installed the NAV demo database in a windows sql server 2003 machine.... And access the database from 6 client nodes.. (LAN - Wired Connection).... I want to change that connection to wireless....
So i changed the IP of the windows sql server machine ..... I tried to connect it from clients....

The Client machines got ping with the windows sql server ...... but it didn't show the database name in the "Database Open" Window in NAV File > Database > Open ..... What might b the reason ...... Need immediate replies .....
Thanks In Advance .............

Regards,
Manickam....

By Wireless you are reffering to Wi-Fi or e.g. EDGE, GPRS etc.? If yes, you need to use remote desktop to connect NAV to the DB. NAV client needs at leas 10Mbps connection, 100Mbps is official requirement.

To see the DB in the list you need to use user account which have public permissions on the DB.
