Because of the economy, I have had to move around my MCP ID a few times.
Currently, after being successfully linked on the certified parner site, I was linked on partnersource, but without my MCP ID - which apparently is still linked somewhere else on VOICE. My certified partner link was dropped during this process.
Certified partner support has not replied; partnersource said they could not handle web problems and referred me to MCP ID support with this cute little message at the end of the email:
How are we doing? We want to hear from you on how we can best provide "One Great Experience."
After 3 months of problems it has been a length experience - not a great experience.
Anyone else had these type of problems?

Granted the ticket I have in is pretty low priority, but even low priority tickets escalate eventually.
Good luck to you.
I have been using my live id - so no problem there.
When I was between jobs, I linked my id to a NAV partner, who revoked my permissions without notice when I took a full time job on the other side of the country. He did not however remove me from VOICE, so I was still linked to his company (but without any access).
Seems very mean spirited.
Especially since my job was on the east coast and he was on the west coast and posed no danger to his business.

Definitely good advice. Although I am somehow linked to two partners and a customer with full access to each. Nice from a "I can see what you can see" perspective. Logging in is always fun, though.
Maybe someone from Microsoft can enlighten us.
When a partner drops your VOICE association, why does it not drop you completely from that partner's record - does he have to say "Simon says" for it to really happen?
For any other business, I have a place where I can go to manage my account.
Why does Microsoft not have a place for MCPs?
That way any MCP can go view who they are associated with and drop any associations and accept invitations.

When I started AP Commerce, I was able to transfer the certifications in VOICE without problems from my prevoius employer. I guess it's who you speak to and whether they are willing to go the extra mile to resolve it for you.
Microsoft is too big for one person to change. You just have to constantly e-mail and call them until you get it resolved.
AP Commerce, Inc. = where I work
Getting Started with Dynamics NAV 2013 Application Development = my book
Implementing Microsoft Dynamics NAV - 3rd Edition = my 2nd book
This was after they told me they could not help me - quoted below:
"As far as your credentials being linked on Partner Source, this is not in the Partner Network?s Jurisdiction. To ensure that you receive the best service possible, we would like to direct you to the Microsoft Regional Operations Center who would specialize in this."
(They referred me back to partnersource.)
