Obsolete function for the RTC

Hi all,
Have you come across the obsolete functions for the RTC? For example, BEEP, RUNMODAL, IMPORT,QUERYREPLACE etc etc?
Anyone managed to find an alternative to those functions?

FORM.RUNMODAL worked fine in the RTC last I checked (well maybe not fine, but it worked )

All depends on context, it is not possible to tell just generic solution...

yes, this is really comfortable when upgrading..

@dnivra: every function has (or has not) a different solution...if you're on SP1, control add-ins may be handy...i don't know C#, but i think you can easily implement the "obsolete" SHELL command
