Hi,
I am using NAV 2009 - MSSQL mode.
Now, I'm creating a Firm Planned Production Order.
Step 1. Completed all the revelant info at the header level.
Step 2. Entering item, quantity, UOM etc.. ---- on the item lines
Step 3. Click on functions -- then click Refresh.
At this point -- I expect to see the updated Porduction lines - giving me the break up of the subassemblies. But, its not happening that way... I still get the same screen as in Step 2. (with one line item)
I have read in the manuals that after performing the Refresh operation (Step 3) NAV updates the production line items.
Please confirm!

Refresh in production order is done when any changes are made in the header and simeltaneous changes u want on the Prouction lines.
You need not manually enter the production lines.
For e.g you change the quantity of prod. header from 5 to 8; in that case when u refresh corresponding entries are made on the lins.
1. make entries in production header.
2. functions --> refresh
3. entries on lines are fallen.
if you manually enter the prod. line, prod. components then those lines would reset once u click functions--> refresh.
Hope it helps.
1) Fill the header details.
2) Run the Refresh option.
3) Process will fill the lines in the Production Order.
4) Based on the setup in the Item card, it will create one or more lines in the productio order.
5) Even though it created single line, you can check the routing and production bom lines are loaded properly or not.
Thanks.
