Production Plan for item with serial no.

Hi,

I am not able to generate the suggestive lines for Production Orders in the "Planning Worksheet" by running regenerative plan, for the items which has a serial no. control.

There are 2 locations - Main Store and Factory.

The concerned item has an "Item tracking code" with a code which has only "SN specific tracking". No lot wise tracking.

The Item SKU has been mapped as such-

SKU for Main Store- Replenishment system - Transfer

Transfer from Code- 'Factory'

Reordering Policy- 'Lot for lot' Include inventroy- 'Yes'

Reorder cycle - 1 week

Safety stock - 5 un

Order Multiple - 1

SKU for Factory - Replenishment system - Prod.Order

Transfer from Code- <blank>

Reordering Policy- 'Lot for lot' Include inventroy- 'Yes'

Reorder cycle - 1 week

Safety stock - <blank>

Order Multiple - 1

The implilcations of the above SKU configurations are 5 units will have to be manufactured in "Factory" and transfered to "Main store" from where it may be stocked or shipped.

When Regenerative planning is initiated then only "Transfer" from Factory to the Main store for 5 units is suggested but no equivalent "Production Order" in the Factory is suggested.

Please help me regarding this case,
