No design window in report designer

I have created the suggested layout for an own report. The report runs correctly under the RTC.

But if I choose View -> Layout, I haven't a design view in the report designer. I can only see the Report.rdlc and Report.xsd.

I work with Navision 2009 SP1 and Visual Web Developer 2008 SP1.

Could anyone help me please?
Many thanks, Roger

Yesterday I had the same problem.

I think you have to install:
    Visual Studio 2008 0h 36m
    MSDN 0h 34m
    Visual Studio 2008 SP1 1h 03n

Do you know whre i can find estimated time to transform classic reports to RTC?
    Thanks

My current installed version of Visual Studio is:
    Microsoft Visual Studio 2008
    Version 9.0.30729.1 SP
    Microsoft .NET Framework
    Version 3.5 SP1

I mean, it's the right one? Or isn't?

How do you have solved your problem yesterday? With new installations?

And no, I don't no where you can find estimated time for transformation reports.
    Many thanks, Roger

I make the new installations and desintall the web developer. Restart computer and now it works.

When I look at "about" of visual studio it says

    Microsoft Visual Studio 2008
    V 9.0.30729.1 SP

    Microsoft .NET Framework
    Versión 3.5 SP1

    Hope it helps.

I´m searching for info about time that it takes to create working layouts for existing customized reports.

    Hi,

When using Visual Web Developer 2008 Express Edition you need to install the Reporting Add-In:

Microsoft Report Viewer Add-on for Visual Web Developer 2008 Express Edition
