Export to excel slow for Account Schedules

Hi All,

When our client runs account schedules and exports it to excel, it runs really slow - it takes a few minutes for excel to be populated. The object cache for this client is greater than 50MB, and their RAM = 1G. The DBMS Cache is 1G. The export for account schedules is pretty fast when run directly from the server.
Will additional RAM solve the problem and if so, how much?

I'd say it's probably more a matter of the data that has to travel across the network than a memory issue. 1GB is not that much RAM though, in today's applications' memory demands.
