Query regarding License issue

hi all....

I had a query regarding License issue. I had downloaded Nav 5.0 SP1 through Partner source in Microsoft website.
I had installed Nav 5.0 SP1 and i was able to access default CRONUS database. My query is is there is any license available for Opening design part of that default CRONUS database.

I know there is one option that using company's developer license b]MICROSOFT PARTNERS[/b, we can open the design part of the object. Currently I had resigned and not working in any navision company. So I Just want to kno is there any defualt license is provided by microsoft for opening the design part of navision object. Is there is any other way to go to the design part of an object. Currently am planning for appear for Development II exams(MB7-516). Kindly advice the same..... #-o

Can you not design a certain object range with the Cronus license?

You won't be able to do this on the core objects using the Cronus license, and to be honest you should never start developing using your Partner's license and they should really leave it lying around for this to happen.

Apart from that you'd have to purchase a license such as Application Builder to be able to design the objects.

You'll have to use a partner license or purchase the very expensive Solution Developer granule.

With the cronus license you can open some specific objects in the designer... (I think that one was Customer Card form)...

Or subscribe to MSDN and get the Navision MSDN training license.

Either way, the CRONUS license and the MSDN license are restricted, but it should be enough to get you more familiar with the NAV development environment.
