Disappearing Ledger Entries

My company is a NAV provider and we also use NAV for our accounting. About three weeks ago, I upgraded our database from 5.1 to 2009 with very little trouble. Since then, the company president has been handling all of his normal transactions with no problems. However, yesterday, he was handling a variety of transactions and went to run his aged A/R and A/P reports and got no data. He went to the object designer and found that all records had been removed from the Cust. Ledger Entry and Vendor Ledger Entry tables. He noticed nothing unusual and is very experienced using Navision. Has anyone else seen this?

So do new entries get created when you post orders?

All of your old stuff shouldn't have been deleted for sure.

As Mattrax says,"The key to wisdom is knowing all the right questions."
Have you seen this yourself or is this something you heard? Double Check.
Do you have more than 1 database? perhaps he logged into some other database?
All was fine until yesterday? All entries for all customers & Vendors have been wiped out?
Those tables need a developers License to clear, did he piss off some employee?
