Is it possible to take NAV backup automatically?

Hi,
Is there any way to create a backup of Navision native database(not SQL) automatically?
for example, writing a vbscript to access NAV database and run the vbscript through any schedulars. But i am not sure about accessing NAV database thorugh VBscript.
