"Pop-up" Message

I am using Navision 4.0 SP2.
Is it possible to create a pop-up messages to alert user of some action?

If you want anything more advanced than a message with an OK button you'll need to design your own custom form.

What I have in mind is for example on the Item Card, when the inventory is less than the Safety Stock Quantity, a message should pop-up anytime you open the Navision.

You want a message to pop up anytime you look at an item card that has a quantity that is too low? I would rethink that. Imagine someone scrolling through item cards using the next record button but being forced to stop everytime they encounter one of those items. I know I would get annoyed.

Consider enhancing the field somehow. Bold, different color, etc. Something to make it stand out so that when someone views it they notice it.

you could also use the job queue to run a report at night that prints out a list of these items. Then in the morn when come in the report is sitting in your printer waiting for you.
