PO Approval Setup

I am testing the PO approval process in NAV 2009 RTC and must have missed something in the setup. I have an approval template for P-Order with additional approver setup. See my attachments. My approver is not receiving an email and I do have him set up in the approval user with an email addy. What am I missing?

    Hi,

    If you have never received any emails, you need to check the SMTP setup.

    Thanks for your help. With the help of the IT guy here I got it up and running. And tested is successfully once. Then it broke.... according to IT there isn't anything wrong with the exchange server. And even though I am getting the pop up box that says the approval was sent, no emails are being sent. Also, when the approver goes to in the system to see if there is anything for him to approve, there is nothing... Any ideas?
