Create to-do from single button click

Hi all,

Is it possible to create a new to-do from a single button push without brining up the wizard?

So when the button is clicked a new to-do is created without the user needing to fill any fields in.

I have a single task that needs completing by the same user, so in effect the task is always the same and is always assigned to the same person.

Could someone shed some light on how to achieve this?
Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he will drink beer allday.
