NAVUG Experience?

Does anyone here have experience with the NAVUG? Is it worth the cost? Currently my company is licensed for over 100 users, so even though I'd be about the only one using it, it looks like the cost is $1000.

Just curious about your experiences with it.

I have not clue what this means and what the site does for the members.

* Promotes awareness of Dynamics NAV functionality, products, and services, as well as ancillary/partner products and services

I thought they were a source of "unbiased information"

Yeah, I was thinking it seems more like a facilitator for users/companies and partners to meet up and show you products....and have both parties pay for that honor. I'm sure they do a little more than that. They seemed to be pushing it at the last Convergence I went to (Orlando) and I happened upon it again today, so thought I would try to find out some more info.

Well, seeing as how I have emailed people in charge of membership several times in the last month and not even received a "We got your email" follow up from anyone, I'll have to say it doesn't seem like it's worth joining, especially with the price tag.
