I have confirmed that the user is not using this table at all, however if the system is in a busy state (processing transactions), it will show "Address ID table is locked by another user".
This error has occurred on a couple of users at different sites. NAV 4.0, SP1, SP2 with SQL 2000, 2005 setups.
How important is this table and why should the system lock this table?
It is understood if Sales Line or Item Ledger Entry table were locked, but Address ID?

Are there any records in the table?
I suggest to contact the ISV that developed this.

The table is not used & no modifications of any sort. Even in Cronus it does not contain any sample records. :-k

I suggest to use developer toolkit on how it is used and look at the code on why you would get locks.
