Apply Template Function In Item/ Cust/Vend

what is the use of the Apply Template In Item card, vendor card .

Vendor card - > Functions - > Apply Template
Item card - > Functions - > Apply Template


How can we use this in implementation Process.

Hi,

This is for appling template to items /vendors - usually when creating new records. You can setup the templates in Administration -> Application Setup -> General -> Setup Master Templates. Have a look at to help and test it out the a test database.

To be a little more specific, if you have multiple fields that are always filled out the same way, you can add them to the template. When you apply that template to a record, those fields will be filled in. Basically you click a button instead of filling out X number of fields.
