In Navision, I need to handle the situation explaind below.

Lets say there are one customer , one reseller, one provider and one product with 4 variants.

- Provider gives the product to the reseller.
- Reseller distirbutes the product to the customer.
- Customer uses the product and after the usage period send it back to the reseller.
- Reseller sends the product back to the provider.

After all these activities;

- The reseller prepares an invoice which the amount on it is calculated by the customers revenue from this product. (An invoice from RESELLER to CUSTOMER) (Revenue informations of customer is sent weekly by the customer with an excel spreadsheet.)
- The Provider prepares an invoice which the amount on it is calculated by all customer revenue from this product. (an invoice from PROVIDER to RESELLER)

We are the RESELLER. As you can see, the products are sent back after the usage period and the invoice amount is calculated by the revenue of the product for the customer.

Should I use resources? Or Project? Or Item Cards with a different setup?
By the way, this product is a stockable item.

Thanks.

    What you are talking about is a two tier leasing/renting scenario.

    We provide a solution on a similiar basis in europe.

    An easy example is a car hire company that leases 50 cars from say Audi, and then the hire company obviousbly leases out to the customers.

    The hard part is getting the calculations correct for invoice based on criteria.

    If you are after an add-on you can drop me a message.
