Hey there.. I've passed Development I exam for Nav 4.0, about year ago.. I wanna pass Development II, and I wanna pass for Nav 5.0. Do I have to pass Development I for Nav 5.0, or I'll just pass Development II for Nav 5.0 and it's gonna be fine.. If you guys have something to share, share then..
Thanks a lot..
Thanks a lot..

You can take whatever exam on whatever version. None of the NAV exams are prerequisites for any other exam. You could have even taken Dev II before Dev I.0

I think Becka mean if it is Ok to pass Dev I for Nav 4.0 and Dev II for Nav 5.0, then two other exams and get Microsoft Certified Business Management Solutions Professional. I am interested to know the answer too.0

As this is discussed practically every other month in the Exams and Certifications forum, I will direct you to the search feature (or just scroll a few posts down).0 -

I've searched a lot, but previous discussions are about choosing 4,5 or 2009 version to certificate. I didn't dind the answer if one can get Microsoft Certified Business Management Solutions Professional if he has, for example, Development I from 5.0 and all other required exams from 2009.
It will be great if somebody can help to find the answer.0 -
Yes, you can. I am An MCP with combinations of 4.0 and 5.0 exams. As long as those versions remain supported, you will remain an MCP. When that version is no longer supported, you are still certified in that functional area in that version, but it will not count towards your MCP.0

I see. Thank you for the clear answer.0

Funny stuff, it seems this guy collects rewards instead of being actual NAV specialist. I, myself, got certificates years ago and it does not make any difficulties to work now. I think that guy is thinking more of decorating his walls rather than working over projects. At least I doubt he will post any questions or problems of NAV here. I've met a lot of clients who cried out tears because of such certified specialist's damage.0
