MSXML 4.0 SP2 error

I'm getting an "Access is denied" error message using MSXML 4.0 SP2, when the Send command of the ServerXMLHTTP40 object is issued. It was working under my login all day, but other people3's logins were getting these errors. Now finally my login is getting the error too, and everybody swears nothing changed.

As far as I can tell now, this is a "bugfix" in MSXML40SP2, in which 'security was tightened' so my thought is I want to get SP1 from somewhere so the code doesn't error out.

Does anyone have a solution for this error message?

Have you tried with latest MSDOM 6.0 and instead of using ServerXMLHTTP40 use ServerXMLHTTP

I think I remember why.

All the pc didn' thave 6.0 installed.

I believe with 5.0 sp1 executable MSXMLDOM 6.0 is installed.

For sure we'll look into getting the code up to the latest objects, but I don't really want to modify any code at this point. What seemed to have helped (we had some help, have not verified this yet and I'll follow up if it doesn't work) is this:
