Bank Rec running Suggest Lines

paddypowerpaddypower Member Posts: 98
Hi Guys & Dolls

Version: NAV 2009 SP1
Database: SQL
Client Front: Classic

I have run the Suggest Lines in the Bank Rec as normal and it provides me with all the usual lines I run a reconcilation on this then I realise there are lines missing. So add add more journals and post. I then re run the Suggest Lines on the Bank Rec and get the following error:

The Bank Acc. Reconciliation Line already exists.
Identification field and values:
Bank Account No.='BANK', Statement No.='4',Statement Line No.='10000'

I have tested this on Cronus and have the same problem. Also this Bank Rec is the only current bank rec.

When I tested this on another version NAV 5.01 this works perfectly?

Thanks for your help

This does sound like a bug.

Has anyone else had this problem.

Why don't you simply delete previously suggested lines and run "Suggest Lines" again?

    Hi,

Check the statement No. of previously posted one and current one? Default NAV will increment the statement no. by bank wise once you post the reconciliation entry.

Change the statement No. and run the suggest lines again. :-k
