Hello everyone,

a customer asks as to insert the logo in left side of the page of the report long all sheet (across section).
I ask you if it is possible and how.
Is it possible to insert a logo in background of all page.

Thank you

It is not possible for a picture to span multiple sections of a report. You would basically have to split the image into pieces, where each piece is the height of one line of text. Then dynamically determine which piece to print of which line. WAY more trouble than it's worth if you ask me.

have they considered pre-printed stationary? then you would just adjust the controls/sections to fit around the design on the stationary.
    kind of fell into this...

Another idea would be to see if your printer can print a watermark. We used to do this to print a image on all pages, but it was a long time ago. Not even sure of the setting anymore. Check your printer manufacture help manual to see if it can print watermarks. the reason we used them is they were load in the printer, and thus didn't have to be sent to the printer everytime, which for us, using terminal service really help cut down on bandwidth.

Another another idea is to generate a PDF of your report, and merge this output with an existing PDF containing the image. With bullzip PDF-printer, you can merge PDF-files very easily.

What do you mean by "pre-printed stationary"?

    Thank you

pre-printed stationary = paper where the logo is already printed on.

as luc stated, pre-printed stationary is any paper stock that has a design/logo/address/whatever already printed on it. you then load that paper into your printer and print your reports on it. we did this at my last company where they wanted a color company logo in the header of the report, and the company address across the bottom of every page. they already had stationary like this so we just loaded a printer drawer with that paper and told NAV to print to that drawer whenever invoicing. it worked just fine.
