first mail is not opened in outlook

I use codeunit mail (397) to send a e-mail with pdf attachment.
it works great.....except
the first mail after login is not opened in outlook directy.
when i run the function nothing happens.
when i run it again 2 mails are opened.
This happens in serveral installations on differnt version. (5 sp1 and 2009 sp1).
Anyone got a clue? #-o
