Lot tracking with LS Retail

Hi Experts ,

Ls Retail only support Serial numbers and not lot numbers .

Even you set up the item card assigned to Lot tracking , we will have the POS retail (system) asking for serial number.

SO if it's a line to produce from manufacturing to Sales of Point . Giving a lot number at production order ...THEN the big question what we will do on POS .. ......how should we sell on POS ............Please if any body has any tiny idea about this fact , please support .

Will each of your product have a barcode with a lot number on it?
If not it won't be possible to keep track of the lot number.


You will need to modify LS Retail so that it asks for lot. Store that in Trans Sales entry.
When the statement is being posted move the lot to journal line to be posted.

Hi,

LS Retail supports Lot tracking.To achieve this attach the Item tracking code to an item and Lot sales tracking needs to be checked in Item tracking code setup.Once this done at the POS, system will prompt for " Enter Lot Number ".

After Keying the Lot No. at POS then "Lot No." will be stored in Trans. Sales entry table.Once the statement posting is done "Lot No." will be stored in corresponding Ledger entries.
