Does NODBC automatically use keys?

Hello,

Searched documentation and forums and can't seem to find an answer. When using C/FRONT, one must explicitly specify the use of the keys. There is no syntax for specifying key usage using NODBC. Are the keys automatically detected and used?

Navision 4.0 (native database)
NODBC 4.0
