May be that the NAV Service Tier is NAV 2009 without SP1?

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\60\RoleTailored Client

Check the properties(Version Tab) of "Microsoft.Dynamics.Nav.Client.exe"

    Version 6.0.29626.0 is NAV 2009 SP1
    Version 6.0.27808.0 is NAV 2009

Would recommend to upgrade the server to SP1

Yes Sir, I know that !!!
But I'm still in confusion why one can Open & another can not ??

    Scenario

I have upgraded the NAV Sql Server Option in my Server Pc to NAV 2009 SP1( from NAV 2009) and installed the Nav 2009 SP1 ( with RTC ) in all of the Client Pcs. I have never ugraded the NAV Server to NAV 2009 SP1 in Server Pc.
