Hi all,
The backup from V5/6 should restore quite well in V6sp1 - but there is one issue then.
New (in SP1) table 253 G/L Entry - VAT Entry link.
Is there any standard report which can build this table for historic data - or is it OK to just fill data for new transactions (or maybe table is never use / only temporary)?
Any ideas?

I used developer toolkit, and it looks like there isn't a table to populate this table,
But It doesn't mean you need this table to be populated.
I think we will have to wait for Upgradetoolkit and see if they have something in it.0 -
Yes - I know. Only CU12 is using this table / creating link during posting.
But I wonder if it is necessary to have data there for historic transactions...0 -
You have to send a support request to MS to get a definite answer.
Based on the two tables, there is no real link between them.
You can use posting date and document date, but If you are hitting multiple VAT/Tax GL accounts, you have to use the amount field.0
