Problem posting Job Credit Memo

Hi Everybody,

I made a job planning line for an item (Line Type = Contract) quantity=1

I posted the usage of the 1 pieces using a Job Journal.
I created and posted a invoice using the the function "Create Sales Invoice"

I created a credit memo :

I added a new job planning line of Line Type = "Contract" with a negative quantity of 1 and then created a credit memo using the function "Create Sales Credit Memo".

When i try to post this credit memo i get the following message "You must post more usage or credit the sales of ...."

I looked on Knowledge Base and found Article 950589, I applied all the changes, and now I get a different message, but the credit memo still won't post...

Am I doing something wrong? Do i need to post usage of the item before posting the credit memo?

Hi, thanks for replying. I applied Microsoft article 950589 as I said before, so the code on codeunit 1011 now does not look as the post you told me.. therefore I cannot do what that user did to solver the problem, commenting out those lines where the error Text004 was thrown.

I think the solution is probably to go to the Job Journal and post a negative quantity of the item before attempting to post the Cr. Memo...
