Financials 2.00 and Windows XP

I've searched this forum and on mbsonline.org but still have no answer.

Can anybody tell me if Navision 2.00 works on Windows XP?
I know, that the official answer is "No".

There is a difference between supported and functional.
Is Navision 2.00 supported when used in a Windows XP workstation: No.
Is Navision 2.00 still functional when used in a Windows XP workstation: Yes.

I am using all the versions from 2.01 to Navision 4, do not have any problem so far.

Hello,

We have found that there are problems with the extra security in XP and 2.00. Unless the PC user is an administrator, then they have problems with Navision trying to access the temporary files it creates.

Changing the path for the Zup files and the TempFilePath, helps sort things out.

I would look at changing your executables to a newer version.
