X++ to MSIL and C#

Saw this video on what the AX team is doing on moving to .NET world.
It looks like they are moving to AX and based on the video they stated that X++ will be discontinued.
They did mention the RAD feature that is missing from Visual studio.
But the demo did show the all the AX compiled into a 65 meg namespace that can be accessed from C# to run business logic and debug the code from visual studio.

If they are moving away from X++, then CAL will go the same way. I think NAV is a step a head in the process in that they are building the new RAD development environment.

Did anybody watch this?
I think Peter Villadsen said some very interesting things. Such as
"They didn't get funding to rewriting the X++ compiler into .NET"
And another quote
"Lets translate Pcode to C#... and then X++ would be history"
"we are making our self obsolete"0
