Navigation Pane designer - Assigned users error

Hi,

I am getting the following error when I try to assign users in the Navigation pane designer.
The error is only occurring on one computer. It does not occur on another computer using the same login credentials.

The error is:
'Assign users User username already exists'

username = name of user.
This error is occurring for all navigation pane items.

The error is not occurring on another machine with the same username.
I have tried to remove the zup file, but it did not work.

Has anyone encountered this problem?

    IF its usually one user and not the ZUP then it will either be the users setup which means you delete the user then recreate them or you could also try reinstalling the client

    We re-installed the client. However the error is still occuring.
    I can confirm that they are logging in with the same user and license.

    The reason for this problem is that you have deleted the user in your AD and the SQL database directly, but you have not deleted the user in your windowslogon table. Therefore, the user now is created 2 times with the same ID in the Windows logon table. You must delete the user that corresponding to the left in the SQL / AD.

    If the user is deleted from Windows, but not the Windows Login table in NAV, their name should show up as a SID.

    Need to check some client side settings....

    Delete user and ](*,) Reinstall client
