How to customized date format

hi i have an problem is customizing the data format in my report. I have my data format in mmmm dd,yyyy
now i want it in dd/mmm/yy format so that i can save some space. i even tried to change it from my system date and time format but it doesnt help out .

Go to control panel change the format in Regional settings to the format u want. Now close the client once and open it again u will get it.

Hi,

If you don't want to modify your reports the only choice is to play with regional settings in your workstation. Displayed date format will be then workstation-dependent of course.

If you can modify your reports you can change Format property of text box displaying your date on the report. Click Help -> C/SIDE Reference guide and look for FORMAT (String) to learn what to put in Format property to get desired results.
