Hi Everyone,

I tried to Calculate PIT in Sales , Its working fine, but When I tried to do the same in purchase it not calculating.

Is it not possible to calculate price inclusive of TAX in Purchase.

If yes, can some one help me with what setup I would have missed.

Thanks
Vijay

I haven't tried using PIT in purchase and I think the functionality is also not meant for this purpose. The overview of PIT in "23880_Assessable Value Computation_Feature Instructions Guide.doc" of HF5 NAV 4.0 SP3 says the following :
The Assessable Value Computation functionality enables you to compute the excise duty under the MRP Provision of Excise Act. This functionality helps in the computation of excise duty in case selling price includes all taxes and charges.

Price Inclusive of Tax refers to "Price" which refers to "Sales" not "Purchases", and so it is not applicable to purchases in default system.
