Kit - Undo Shipment

User Shipped the KIT Item. By mistake serial number was assigned wrongly for one of the kit components. Now user wants to undo the shipment and assign the appropriate serial number.
Selected the shipment Number -> Selected the line -> Functions -> Undo Shipment
But Undo shipment doesn’t put the serial numbers back.
Example:
Below is the KIT (Computer) details, which is shipped
I want to correct serial number Mserial4 to Mserial2, All other serial numbers information is correct. How can I correct the serial number when system not putting the serial numbers back on sales Order?
