Hi all,

We need to use some reports and codeunit in Navision 5 SP1 HF2 which all are already there in Navision 2009..

So I tried to export objects from Navision 2009 and imported to Navision 2005 but if I open or Run the report Nav application is restarting... Find the Attachment for the same.

Before importing to Nav 5 I need to do anything??

Or

Whether its possible ???????????

Warm Thanks,
Sam

    Hi Sam,

Export your objects in text format and try to import them in NAV5.
If you get errors at importing the file (and you will) you see which parts you have to remove from the text file.

Unfortunately, currently that is the only way.

As ara3n said, this is currently the only way.

I have made a little tool for it.
It is part of the Object Manager v4 that I will upload begin September.

So if you need to downgrade your objects again in a couple of weeks you can download it here in the download section.
