Has anybody a solution, which allows to change the structure or the numbers of the CoA on a specific date and to keep the CoA from this date on with two account-numbers?

Old number valid until 31.12.04
New number valid from 1.1.05

Standard reports should be available with both numbers.

    If you are doing it in real time (on the 311204) then you can renumber the old account and block it and then recreate the account with the correct number. The position of the old account in the COA would depend on the new number chosen.

    If you wanted to do it after the event, then you'd need a program to reverse the entries after the 31/12/04 in the renumbered account and recreate them in the new account.
