restore NAV Backup Error

I have a full nav fbk backup that has two companies in it.
When I uncheck one company so that I can restore only one, I get an error during restoration.
The error is Company BLAH doesn't exists.
BLAH is the company I unchecked from the restoration.
Any idea on what object would cause this?

I am guessing, At the start of restoration system would have asked u to restore security tables and u would have said yes. Try next time with no. I got this and i got rid by selecting other way round next time. This is just a wild guess.Kapil Khanna0

You get the question if you already have a permission setup.
This is a blank database, so you don't get the question asked.0 -

Hi
What version of Navision?
5Sp1 (i don't remember which Build, i think the last released production version) show this error.
Try 5.0 and then convert it to 5sp1 or download the last hotfix.
Bye

It is indeed a bug ( :bug: ) in the restore process for that NAV version.
If you create the company first in your database, you can restore the fbk-file. You can delete the company afterwards as it just needs to be there to complete the restore process. No support using PM or e-mail - Please use this forum. BC TechDays 2024: 13 & 14 June 2024, Antwerp (Belgium)0 -
There is a fix for this bug. If you download the latest programbuild for the client it'll work._____________________

I'll had this problem also with 5.0.
It works if first the application objects and data for all companies are restored (first step) and then the company/companies in a second step.
