User Permissions

Hi Experts,

Could u please any body help me for how to assign user permissions.

I made a user with super roll, and now i want to add one more user only to have permision for create purchase order, and post the purchase order only not for invoice also..
Please let me know then i will apply for all of my requirements.

First you need to add the new user by selecting Tools --> Security --> Database Logins --> Add an user named as "NAV" and then go to next line.
Now again select the "Nav" database login line and click on Roles command button then you will find the NAV-Roles window opened.Now when you cick on first line a look up arrow appears and click on the look up arrow to open Roles(List of roles in Your database) window.
First select the "All"(This is mandatory for any user except super Role users) Role.Then select "P&P-Q/O/I/R/C"(Create purchase orders, etc.),
"P&P-Q/O/I/R/C, POST"(Post purchase orders, etc.) and "P&P-POSTED R/I/S/C"(Read posted receipts etc.).
