Rollback NAV2009 database to 5.1

integratedintegrated Member Posts: 22
I have both NAV5.1 and 2009 installed on my notebook.
One day, I made a terrible mistake by converting my client's 5.1 db to 2009...
My client has only bought the 5.1 license so upgrading to 2009 is not okay.
That means I can only rollback the change.

I updated the DatabaseVersionNo field in the $ndo$dbproperty table.
Can get through the NAV login screen, but then it prompts FIX.STX error.

So the version# is not fully rollback..

The last good 5.1 db was 2 weeks ago..migrating data changes looks very expensive.

Any idea of what else I could do?

Thanks a lot!!

For the future, to avoid this problem: create a shortcut to each DB. When connecting to a certain DB, you just click the shortcut. If you have the wrong DB, it just opens the wrong DB (if it exists).

For this case: I see only 1 way: make dataports to export the data and then import the data back in a new 5.0SP1 DB.
