Hi guys!

Can you send me a compilation of topics that you think that are very important to anaylise SQL Performance.

I´m newbie in this area an i want to read more about this subject.

For example on the instalation:
Should i limit the MEmory used by the SQL Server?
When i create/Attach a database what is the best pratice to configurate the autogwoth.

you should leave a gig of memory for the OS. Now if you have only 2 gig of memory on the server that wouldn't make sense.

You can leave it as default as 10 percent, but you should sql procedure to increase size of database.
You should not allow sql to increase, I wold allow 30 percent empty space on the database and maintain that, now if you have a 100 gig database the percentage doesn't make sense, but autogrowth if left by itself will increase at worst time when people are posting transactions.
