Is there a best choice in SQL versions for Nav 2009

My work is considering the process of moving to Nav 2009 and I'm curious, is there a compelling reason to get the latest version of Sql? We're running on Sql 2005 right now and it runs quite well.

NAV2009SP1 has an advantage when using SQL2008. See my blog : http://mibuso.com/blogs/kriki/2009/08/02/select-option-optimize-for-unknown/
